HORESTA’s People & Culture Manager programme has already equipped a large number of managers in the hotel, restaurant, and tourism industry to build strong teams, ensure high levels of wellbeing, and achieve even better results.

In an industry where guest experience, service, and presence are crucial, strong leadership is the key to success. That is why HORESTA once again offers a practical and inspiring programme that provides you with concrete tools to develop both yourself and your employees.

The programme is delivered in collaboration with leadership consultant Ulrik Lynge, who has many years of experience developing leaders within the hospitality industry and is known for his energy, insight, and ability to create real, everyday change.

This leadership programme and education will help optimise your ability to be the best possible leader and strengthen your leadership competencies within the following seven learning objectives:

1. To become aware of your own leadership behaviour and the impact a leader has on their employees.
2. To become aware of the mental balance that supports and develops healthy work environments and employees.
3. To develop the ability to adapt your leadership style to different employee types.
4. To develop and practise the ability to motivate employees based on seven key motivational areas that increase commitment and daily wellbeing for both individuals and the organisation.
5. To understand and apply knowledge of the mechanisms that influence a team – including what develops a team positively and what can create friction and dysfunction.
6. To use recognition and feedback as active leadership tools and thereby foster a culture where feedback and appreciation are a natural part of everyday work for all employees.
7. To gain insight into leadership networks and understand the value of building relationships across functions and industries.

The programme consists of four modules – all sessions running from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
